About Me:
I was born and raised amongst the cornfields of central Iowa. There, I was a stereotypical horse girl (no shame), and dangit I still know the art of getting back on the horse!
I like to say I’m chronically curious - I make it a goal to carefully cultivate curiosity amongst others. All our questions? That’s the good stuff.
Unapologetically, I’m a friend of God. I believe I’m here, on planet earth, to bring heaven to earth through my work, art, relationships & play.
For those of you curious about my education, I have a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications and an M.S. in Innovation and Management. Both degrees are saturated in funny stories. Both degrees were last-minute decisions. Both degrees I’m really proud of.
But there’s also education outside of school and I especially love studying the bible, food as medicine, organizational psychology, and spiritual formation.
I’ve made it my personal mission to get more people outside. The Psalms are hardly quiet about how the glory of God is palpable in His creation of nature. There’s just too much glory to behold to keep my friends (read: you) inside. That’s why I dreamt up Saints in the Wild. Find more information here.
Currently, I work as a freelance journalist where I tell stories, ask questions, and occasionally take on a long-form book project.
Bozeman, Montana, and my husband, Alex, are home and I’m praying for another 75 years of that sentence.
Thank you for being here - truly. I am so happy you’re here & I have a feeling we’re going to be great friends.
Here’s to the adventures to come!
